Overview
Full-stack owner, with a frontend and UX emphasis, of a containerised, PCI-delegated portal where business customers pay invoices by card via Stripe Checkout, with confirmation receipts emailed to the customer and finance team.
Challenge
- Let business customers pay invoices by card without the app handling card data directly.
- Validate input strictly and give clear, animated feedback through the payment flow.
- Run reliably across environments with runtime configuration.
Approach
- Built the payment form with client-side validation, animated progress and success states, and brand theming.
- Handled Stripe customer and checkout edge cases and rebuilt the email-receipt templates with structured logging.
- Containerised the app with runtime environment injection and multi-environment configuration.
Outcomes
- Shipped a polished, PCI-delegated payment experience.
- Added structured logging for observability.
- Made deployment repeatable with runtime config injection.
